Slovakia Euro 2024 Squad Announced

Calzona Cuts Squad Down to 26

Key Names to Make the Cut

The Slovakia Euro 2024 squad has been announced, with Francesco Calzona cutting his squad down to 26 players. Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka, New England Revolution defender Henrich Ravas, and Fulham goalkeeper Marek Rodák are among the key names to make the cut.

Calzona has opted for a blend of experience and youth in his squad, with several players who were part of the team that reached the round of 16 at Euro 2020. Dúbravka, Ravas, and Rodák are all established internationals, while the likes of Róbert Mak (Ferencváros), Ondrej Duda (Hellas Verona), and Erik Jirka (Viktoria Plzeň) are all promising young players who could make a major impact at the tournament.

Slovakia will be hoping to build on their success at Euro 2020, when they reached the round of 16 for the first time in their history. They have been drawn in a tough group for Euro 2024, with matches against Spain, Ukraine, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
